Where is Aloha Kauai Tours located?

AKT and SeaFun Snorkel are located on the island of Kauai in a town called Koloa located on the south shore.  The Old Koloa Sugar Mill is our staging area for all of our activities.

When should I book?

To ensure that you get your 1st choice, we recommend at least 2 weeks in advance. We usually have openings even one day in advance, but availability may be limited. Call us to find out! Four weeks ahead is best if there are five or more in your group or during busy seasons. The busy times for Aloha Kauai Tours and SeaFun Snorkel are summer (June through August), Thanksgiving week (third week in November) and Christmas/New Year’s (December 15 through January 15).

Tour Specific

Are there age restrictions?

Our minimum age requirement is 5 years old. Persons making online reservations must be at least 18 years or older. To participate in our tours, all children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian that is 18 years or older.

Is it Safe?

Hiking, snorkeling, and even being a passenger in a van have inherent risks.  Safety is our priority. Guests must follow guide instructions and briefings on every tour.  Failure to do so could lead to injury. Each van is equipped with a fully stocked first aid kid and all guides are CPR and First Aid certified.

Do Tours Go Out During Rainy Weather?

Yes. We tour rain or shine. However, safety and guest enjoyment is still our priority.  Tours will be cancelled and re-scheduled if there is a present danger.

Will I get wet on tour?

SeaFun Snorkel is an ocean tour that will absolutely require guests to get into water.  There are portions of our 4×4 van tours that require guests to be outdoors and exposed to the elements. Guests who participate in the 4×4 Rainforest tour with hike will be exposed to higher chances of encountering some rain.

Does your company take photos or videos for us?

We take pictures on the SeaFun Snorkel tour only.  Guests will have a chance to view and purchase pictures after the tour. We recommend bringing along your own camera or video device on our 4×4 van tours, as long as you know that the responsibility of tracking and caring for those devices while on our tour is yours.

What kind of food will be served?

Juice, water and locally made granola snacks will be provided.
